Sawai Madhopur - Nested in the rolling hills of the Aravalli and Vindhyachal ranges, 180 kms north west of Jaipur lies the town of Sawai Madhopur . Founded in 1765 A.D., the town is named after its founder Sawai Madho-I of Jaipur. Today the town receives worldwide recognition for its famous and historical Ranthambhore National Park . This wildlife sanctuary is considered to be the country's best for observing and photographing the activities of the tiger. The park, covering an area of 392 sq. kms is home to more than 300 species of birds. The tiger, hyena, ratel, jackal and fox are among those constituting the carnivorous population here. The forest provides shelter to an amazing variety of plants and animals including about 300 plant species, over 50 aquatic plant species and more than a 100 species of herbs, climbers and grass

Early morning visit to the park for nature watch and tiger tracking in open jeep / canter bus.
After the visit, breakfast at the hotel.
Morning free to relax and for independent activity.
Afternoon: Lunch at the hotel
After lunch an evening safari visit is arranged to the Ranthambore National Park , located amongst the ruins of a 10th century fort. Take a tour of the park on a jeep / canter bus with an accompanying naturalist.
After visiting the wild life sanctuary, return to the hotel.
Evening: Dinner at the hotel
